Here are more pix of my doggie. A couple of years ago, my roomie took a photography class,and used him as a subject of many pix. The pic on the left is one she took after she yelled at him to stay still and the other is him being mad at her for yelling.
Wow, it is 5:41am (I should be walking out the door now). It is 83 degrees in this house.
But it is 68 degrees outside.
it will be in the tripple digits in the San Fernando Valley area.
Most of the day, I will be in a climate controled office. i feel bad for those who have to work outside.

In New Mexico we are supposed to get to at least 102 today. No big deal until I voluinteer for cub scout camp next week which is mostly OUTSIDE. I need to find one of those ice bandana thingeys...

Here in Queen Creek, we're right outside Phoenix, it's going to be 112 again. We don't expect any relief soon. I need to take my mother to the doctor again today and I dread going from the house to the car.

I was in Philadelphia last september. It was hot and humid then. Just like LA.
So when I went to cool drizzly Vancouver 3 weeks later, it was a relief.

It is 10:09pm. It is still 86 outside and 89 freaking degrees in this house. I cant stand it.
Last night I slept on top of the covers. Hardly slept at all. I will do it again tonite. at least i dont have to get up early tomorrow.

Try taking a cold shower
Try taking a cold shower before you go to bed. It cools your body temp down and makes it easier to sleep. Or at least put your feet in cold water. That also helps.

The heat is up here in Northern CA too. It was 108 today! I am so happy that I work in an office with AC. I feel so sorry for the employees outside in the warehouse. It is so darn hot in there. The temp is suppose to be almost the same tomorrow. Yuck! As I will be at a B-B-Q.
I just checked and the temp in the house is 83! I also slept ontop of the bedspread yesterday and will again right now. I have a ceiling fan and at least that helps a bit but it is still very uncomfortable. I have a wet washcloth and that helps cool down my head. Hope you get a good night sleep.
