Which Harlequin line would you want to see release 4 additional titles a month?

Please consider any line sold on eHarlequin like Silhouette and Steeple Hill, etc.

This does not have to be your favorite line.   It could be a line you just want more selection to choose from each month. I like Steeple Hill the best but I have no desire to read more than four Inspirationals a month.Surprised

On the other hand, I would love to see four more Harlequin Romance titles a month.  To me HR is the quintessential, no nonsense, romance.  IMHO, this is the line to expand next.(Please.)   What do you think?Sealed

Thanks,

Vince

P.S. I ask these questions to get a better understanding of the romance reading community.   Cool

Easy one....

and a surprise for me as you would expect me to say the Nocturnes but nope, it's the Harlequin Medicals I'd like to see more of!  I'd also like to see them available on the shelves while I'm dreaming here.....

Medicals

I'd like to see the Medicals have the same 6 releases as they have in the UK ..... and I'd like to see the line sold strictly as large print so that every reader can read it and not have to special order or miss out

if they did this I'd subscribe ..

Harlequin Nocturne!  2 a month isn't enough....  I love paranormal romance, and the Nocturnes have a good blend of steam and destined love.  (Non-Harlequin paranormals sometimes are great with steam, but low on the love and HEA)

Nocturnes!  There's a wide variety of options in paranormals, and not all the options are to my taste . . . more per month means it's more likely I'll find something I like and have something new to read every month.

Medicals and Historicals

Not necessarily more titles a month, but I wish we got more of them in Canada.  Medicals are hard to find and there are a lot of historicals that come out in the UK but not NA and they are great stories that we're missing out on.

Medicals and Medieval/Western Historicals

1.Medicals.

2. More Medievals and Western and non-regency historicals in HH. I know every one loves Regency but I could use an extra dose or more of Medievals and non-regency periods (Roman..US Civil War, etc).

Medicals in regular print for me but more options in larger print for others.  Should not be an either/or choice.

I'd Subscribe Today to Larger Print Medicals

Hi All:

I agree with KatherineT. I will subscribe right now to six Medicals a month if they come available in larger print. I quickly bought and read every Medical eBook before they took them down for sale.  Medicals are the first books I look for each month on Harlequin eBook special releases.

Medicals! But I don't

Medicals but I don't know when I'd find time to read more. I'm behind now.

Medicals are the fastest reads, IMHO.

Hi debkc3:

With all that "life and death" stuff going on in a Medical, they read so fast you could read twice as many in the same time! Sealed

One way to reduce the szie of a TBR pile is to increase the percentage of Medicals that make up the pile.

         Thanks,

                 Vince

P.S.  With a good historical I like to slow down and savor the atmosphere. For example,  I didn't want "The Gladiator's Honor" to end -- Because whence would come another?"  Surprised

P.P.S. Think about that TBR pile and how Medicals might be the cure!Sealed

How about a compromise --

How about a compromise -- two extra Nocturnes, two extra medicals each month?

I second that!!!!

Hey All,

Nice to see so many votes for medicals. I wish all 6  released in the US AND available on shelf for everyone to buy too.

We just have to keep plugging away at that one Kiss

Amy Thanks

Hi Amy:

Of course, I'd be proud to have you for a friend. I did not know things changed. Now you have to look up and see if you have any friend requests pending;  before it was on the front page where you could not miss it. I had about 20 waiting requests. They must think I am terrible. I bet many other people do not know they have to look up and see if there are any friend requests pending.

I'm all caught up now and I hope peoople still accept me.

                          Thanks again,

I don't know when I would have figured this out if you had not left a comment.

Friends - yay!

Hey Vince - we're friends!!!! Kiss

It's okay. I figured it would be because you hadn't checked your pending box. But it'd been a while so I thought I'd just give you a little nudge Wink

This makes it much easier for me to access your blogs now I can just click on you in my friends lists. Thanks. Do keep your blogs coming - they're always very stimulating reading.

Vince --

Amy has a good point about it being easier to read your blogs if you're a friend.  I'm going to ask to be your friend, too, so check again.

The friend request thing

The friend request thuing is good to know. I made a friend request to one Presents author but it's been a month so I blew off the request. I don't think she hangs out here much because she is on my friend list on Shelfari and MySpace so I know it isn't personal. I see friend requests on my profile page up at the top but sometimes (Most of the time) I go to my blog rather than my profile page.

I'll compromise on more Nocturnes or more of anything as long as we get all 6 medicals in book form every month in NA.and ebook or larger print for those who want that...just don't deprive me of the book form. The Medicals do sell out so fast that I am quite surprised they are not in ebook regularly from a marketing standpoint. It drives me crazy to not to be able to get all 6 Medicals without jumping through hoops..
