Wicked Nights by Nina Bangs (Paranormal)

Paranormal romance with a vampire hero and human heroine.  She's a late-night paranormal talk show host who comes to the amusement park where he works as a vampire with his two "brothers".  He plays (and is) Eric the Evil vampire.  He initially clashes with her because he wants to keep her from talking about the amusement parks very real creatures of the night.  Quickly he changes his mind and seduction via chocolates is on his mind.  She's tempted.  She notices his mental powers eventually but it takes longer for it to dawn on her that he's a vamp.  There is a tense situation with another vamp that wants Eric dead and is willing to use Donna to trap him.  Sparkle Stardust and another cosmic matchmaker named Asima work to better the sex lives of Eric & Donna.

It's a great read.  Love Nina Bangs.  I don't think this is her best book: the characters are isolated for most of the novel, they don't give in to their craving for the other and lose themselves in each other.  There isn't the same sense of overwhelming destined-to-be togetherness that Nina Bangs uses in her other books, instead it's like a modern lifestyle choice for Donna to choose a vampire partner in life.  It's a fun ride as a read though!

I cannot wait to read the story about BRYNN the sex-demon brother of Eric.  If Brynn spends an hour with a woman, he is compelled to offer her his body and provide her with all the sensual pleasure imaginable.  (he doesn't enjoy having to subjugate himself to women this way... he's considering suicide, but doesn't think anything could kill him)  I choked and died when he offered that to Donna at one point in the novel, can't wait to read his story.

Rating: 4/5 stars, it's not the writer's best because the characters spend too much of the novel trying to be independent of each other and not giving in to the enveloping passion between them.
