This is a pep talk for myself, to remind me what I'm doing.
I'm working on my third Everlasting Love, now. These are unusual books to write, for romance, because a conflict needs to last for decades rather than for a period of courtship. The conflict must be intense enough to continue to rear its head year after year but not so intense that it kills love and desire between the hero and heroine. As I work with the conflict(s) I've chosen, I'm trying to keep in mind what the main characters each want.
All prayers and talismans against writer's block are being accepted.

I happened across this blog
I happened across this blog by accident when I saw it highlighted on the blog home page. But I have to say I LOVE the EL stories. I was quite disappointed they didn't really give the line time to get as noticed as it could have been but I'm glad they compromised and moved it to the SuperRomance line with it's own banner. I was a little worried about the change, wondering if they'd still keep what made them unique when they were moved into another line. I'm glad to say they still have the same characteristics I loved about the line.
But each one I've read has been wonderful and I buy every single one of them. I love the real life attributes of the stories, with struggles lasting their whole life instead of being resolved in a few months. Which is kind of ironic since the reason I read romance is for an esape from reality (hence why I love paranormals so much).
So what I'm being rather long winded about is keep working at it. there are many of us who love the stories generated by this particular line and the stories really get to us where it counts, in our hearts.
