This book is funny. The poor guy has ladies flashin
g their breasts at him, stealing into his house trying to crawl into bed with him, chasing him down the street, etc and all because of an article in a prominent magazine that made him feel like a side of beef. Shane McDermot can't figure out why nobody can see the real him instead of seeing his good looks and bank account.
Maya Wilson has a job to do. She can't believe what some women will do to get Shane's attention. I mean even she feels all quivery when Shane talks. And all he has to look at her and she feels like a firecracker set to go off. Never mind the way she ignites at his touch. But do you see her chasin' him? NO! She's there to do a job and then she's leavin' town.
I liked Shane and his family. Apparently, this book is part of Victoria Pade's A Ranching Family series. I have 5 books in that series waiting in my tbr pile and if the rest of Victoria's books are anything like this one, I'll be enjoying them as well.
