The Few. The Proud. The Married Blurb:

U.S. Marine Zachariah Clark spent his last furlough between the sheets with voluptuous socialite Becky Owens--a steamy week he never wanted to end. So he proposed. They secretly said their “I do’s” and Zachariah shipped out on an eighteen-month tour.

Stateside again--nursing serious war wounds--Zach begins a tough new mission: getting to know his bride. In the bedroom things are perfect, but outside Zach has plenty to learn about Becky, a steely divorce attorney who’s as fierce a warrior in her own way as he is. The question is: who’s giving the orders now?

My thoughts:

I enjoyed this read. I was in the mood for a Blaze and this satisfied that craving. From the hot cover to the steamy read how could it go wrong. I was pulled in and very much enjoyed the characters. I liked the addition of the stalker to give me something to try to guess on and the person who it ended up to be ran through my head a few times but it was still interesting. I hope to see the other 2 officers who were helping as bodyguards get their own story especially Murphy.

Mini-Challenge:   Does this man fit the story? Yes. Does he suit the heroine? Very much so. Would he suit me? Hmm oh yes how could I resist a nicely built, sexy marine with a good heart and good values. Did the guy on the cover represent my mental picture? Oh yes that guy is smokin! I don't think a real life actor quite fits that guy at least I can't come up with any.

Never knew what was once warm is now a cold place.

I bought this one.

I bought this one.  Couldn't resist the cover.  I haven't read a lot of Blazes but the mood struck on my last book shopping day.

Hi Merri

This was a good book along with the nice cover lol that cover I think convinced alot of people to buy it. Good thing the book itself wasn't a disappointment! Sometimes I get in the mood for a good steamy read but a well written story at the same time and the Blaze line usually hits the spot.

Never knew what was once warm is now a cold place.

The cover is yummy

and so was the book.

 Nice review!
