At Your Command by Julie Miller

Format: Print Books

At Your Command is an attention grabbing military romance.  Julie Miller has done it again! Zachariah Clark, U.S. Marine Captain, meets dream woman, Becky Owens, at a local D.C. bar.  The two hook up for a one nighter that extends into six delightful days and an unexpected quick marriage before Zachariah leaves for deployment. When Zachariah returns after eighteen long months of duty does the relationship survive, do they have anything in common out of bed, is the attraction still there?  A wonderful story full of sensual romance, suspense, Marine “Semper Fi’,  a little courtroom drama and HEA.

Another Julie Miller winner, IMO

Hi DonnaM

I agree, this is another excellent story by Julie Miller.  She's totally got me hooked, that's for sure!  I think this was the last book that I read in 2007.

Hi Kathy K,

Thanks for stopping in!  Boy, this is going to take some getting used to!  Are you in the Challenge this year?  I read Julie's military romance books for Blaze last year & I loved them.  Loved At Your Command!

Guess this is it for now.  It is a double Challenge until I get used to the "new updated" eHarlequin.

See you around,

Take care, happy reading,

Where to start

The book sounds very nice

I don't know any of the Julie Millers's books. Where should I start? I do like Cathy Mann's military romances and enjoyed Flyboy by Karen Foley.

Hi "Berlin",

Thanks for stopping to read my review.  This was a yummy book, especially if you like military romance.  Julie writes a lot for the Intrigue line & some for Blaze.  Past books of Julie's that are connected to this one are: Basic Training, Carnal Innocence & Major Attraction all excellent military romances.  One of my uncle's was a Marine during WWII so I tend to be a bit partial to the Few, the Proud, the Marines.  Of course for that same reason I love the Air Force & the Army!!

Take care, happy reading,

Thanks Donna, I've put them

Thanks Donna,

I've put them on my list and will try to find them. Not sure when I will get to read them though.  Too many books...

Looking forward to reading this

when it makes it this side of the Atlantic

Glad you enjoyed it

No more excuses, just READ!

Kathy K times 2!

Ooops.. I dropped the ball on this one...!
Yep, I'm in the Challenge again this year, but I'm the Other Kathy K and I also go by KaLyKo (or kalyko)....  I was laughing with Kathy K (via email) about the confusion that having two names the same has caused even Me!  I can only wonder what other people must think sometime.
I know that Kathy K isn't in the challenge, but she visits a lot ~ either way it's really neat about the names.  Wink
