Becky Owens is a divorce attorney who has a steamy week in bed with with Zachariah Clark. Zach so does not want to leave Becky and ends up proposing. They secretly get married and Zach immediately ships out for an 18 month tour as a marine. Now he is back and they both have to adjust to each other and their marriage. They married so quickly that she did not even tell her parents. Zach is having alot of trouble adjusting. A young marine under his command died and Zach feels he is at fault.
Becky has had her life threatened and Zach is determined that nothing will happen to her. He decides he will be her bodyguard.
This was an interesting story. How they manage to make a quickie marriage into a permanent relationship.
