Gal Pal Corral ~3~
Established August 11, 2003
Welcome to the Corral! Where the Gal Pal's talk about anything and everything. You can take a dip in the Hot Tub, try your luck on the Mechanical Bull, watch the boys show their stuff in the rodeo ring, take a rest in the bunkhouse or the hayloft, enjoy the water park and privacy cabanas or dance the night away in the barn. Something's always happening in the Corral, so grab a cowboy and join in!

Eeek!
I didn't realize that you were going to switch the corral today. I hope that I can find the old one so that I can catch up on posts.

Well, that was nice. It brought me directly into the new posts. Prolly cuz it's only one page now.
I'm still coughing up bits of my lungs, but nothing serious. I haven't been sick like this for a long time. At least 6 months. Used to be I'd get sick every month.

You can do anything if you put your mind to it.... but it won't go far without the rest of your body.
Hi everyone~
I am off work today and tomorrow, which is good. I am finally feeling better, but still coughing some. It has been cold here or at least to me it has. I found out the other day that my aunt is going to have surgery again this Friday at 11:35 am. The pins in her elbow and arm are not holding that is why they are having to do surgery again. She is going to have to stay 3 to 4 days in the hospital this time, which is good because of her getting sick last time. Then she is going to have to go to rehab at the hospital, but I don't know how long she will be there. Hopefully they will keep her until they are for sure that she is able to take care of herself. Anyway I hope it all goes well for her. I am still tired from last night. I had better go. Catch you all later.{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}
Good Afternoon!
How's everyone been?
Tammy, glad to hear you are feeling better and that you are having a day off. I'll keep positive thoughts for your Aunt's surgery on Friday.

My mom
had a seizure last night. She is pretty wiped out today. We had to drive BP to school even though all our brakes don't work. Rob fixed it so that 3 of them work. The roads were pretty clear but it was still scary because the anti-lock system doesn't like it when one of the brakes is disconnected.

I went
shopping for art supplies yesterday. Rob is working on another portrait and I needed to buy him a canvas and look to see if the store had Raw Umber yet. Of course they did not so all I have heard this morning is grumblings about the color not being exactly what he wants. Tempermental artists! Grrr!

Rob has been
doing a lot of painting lately. He has finished 3 in the past couple of weeks. The last one was my Valentine gift. It is a field of flowers (because they will last longer than live ones) with a few roses in the forground so they are life size. A couple of beautiful butterflies, teeny tiny lady bugs and a couple of bees around the flowers. In the background, he painted a huge weeping willow which is my favorite tree. I love it.

I'm going to go check out what they said on The American Idol thread and then go work on a review and listen to Rob grumble some more. Take care all and get HEALTHY! And Sapph, don't forget to elevate that ankle after PT exercises and wiggle your toes. Seriously, it does help the healing process.

If
Well, FF, I need to find someone with a digital camera then I will. My bil has one but getting him to do anything is difficult. The cheapest digital camera I saw at Walmart the other day was just under $100. Maybe I'll take some of the money I am supposed to be getting soon and invest it in a camera. I was planning on getting caught up with bills and possibly going to the RT conference in Pittsburgh on the day they have authors sign books. It is only about 5 hrs. away and Rob is always talking about wanting to take BP to the museum they have so they could go do that while I meet people. It all depends on how long my application takes to process and then how long it takes the state to start doing what they should have been doing for months now. Looooooong story.

Kim, don't buy a cheap
Kim, don't buy a cheap digital just because it's cheap and available. Apparently, the quality can be very poor. It would be a shame to spend $100 and have poor quality when waiting a little while could give you one t $150 that is much better. For what it's worth.

Another one from my aunt
Installing Your Husband...
Dear Tech Support,
Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?
Signed,
Desperate
***
DEAR DESPERATE,
First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an Operating System.
Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and don't forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. But remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta. Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.) Also do not attempt to reinstall Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.
Good Luck,
Tech Support

The worst
