HOUSE ~ Season 4 ~

DR. GREGORY HOUSE (Hugh Laurie) is devoid of bedside manner and wouldn't even talk to his patients if he could get away with it. Dealing with his own constant physical pain, he uses a cane that seems to punctuate his acerbic, brutally honest demeanor. While his behavior can border on antisocial, House is a brilliant diagnostician whose unconventional thinking and flawless instincts afford him a great deal of respect. An infectious disease specialist, he thrives on the challenge of solving medical puzzles in order to save lives.

House

I love this show. I watch it with my son. It's brilliantly written and House is an incredible character. True to life, I don't know. I work in a hospital and I can't even imagine them ordering the tests they order on House at the drop of a hat. But I experience enough reality the rest of the week. I'll enjoy House for what it is. A brilliant dramatic series.

House

I watched the new one the other night and was blown away on where it picked up at.  I must have missed the last one because I dont remember the bus scene.  But it was GOOD.

At first when I saw this thread

I was afraid I'd missed the season's premiere. Thanks for giving the date.

Pat, I'm with you on the reality issue...sometimes when House is ordering all those tests and often disastrous treatments there's a niggling thought at the back of my mind: Is he really all that good a doctor?? But, yes, I like the character and the show too much to listen.Wink

Season openner ....

So what did everyone think of the Openner?

I wonder if they'll resolve the conflict with Wilson and House .... I miss their pranks

I miss...

their pranks as well.  Admittedly, I only started watching House last season but I quickly became hooked!  I hope they resolve the issues with Wilson and House soon.....

House and Wilson

This weeks show was great and really showed how Wilson and House became friends. Most importantly Wilson is staying. I won't say anything more in case there are people who are still going to watch the show and I wreck it for them.

Pat

Yes!

Wilson is back!  ... I knew he wouldn't be gone long  :)

this was an enlightening episode ... gave House a new depth ... and it seemed the medical portions of this one were better than they have been ... House was on top again as a Diagnostician  ... the whole epi was excellent

I agree!

Glad to see Wilson back as well and this epi added a lot of depth.  And to second what Katherine T said, this epi didn't have me wondering why everyone thought House was a great doctor!

Finally!

Throughout this last epi, you could tell that House was more emotionally involved with Cuddy than he liked to let on .... did you all catch their clinch?  .... oh my!  ... what a clinch!

I love this show...

But I missed the season ender, and have only seen a few of the new season.  I need to hunt the eps up on line and watch them.
