On my TiVo, they show some new epis coming up! woo!

I really like Joseph. At first I was disappointed that they "softened" him, because I liked that he was so edgy, and when they showed him with the girlfriend in a coma, I wasn't really happy with that, but then I realized how much trouble that would cause for Mick -- it gives him another reason he couldn't think of changing Beth over. So I think that was the reason behind it.

I'm pretty sure tomorrow night is new... they must have saved some for Jan, hoping the strike would be over...

Moonlight is one of my favorite shows!!  Mick is HOT!!  I just looked up the info on tormorrow night's show.  It should be a great show.  I have to work tomorrow night but I am going to tape it....the good thing is watching it without commericals!

I LOVED tonights episode! His doing the vamp thing to intimidate those men was so hot! I don't want to give anything away just incase people haven't seen it yet but he is soo awesome in this episode!

I have to agree with lesleyspeller on the fact that Beth is gonna get with Mick now.  Well we sure hope so, don't we!!!  It will be interesting to see how long she stays mad at Mick.  And I also agree that she'll get over that when she realizes what an absolutely ridiculous request she was making. 

And I totally agree that Mick was lying when he answered that question Beth asked him at the end. Yes, he knows very well he wouldn't let that happen.  I wonder what Beth would think of that if he actually did it??

Is that the last show for the season?  Does anyone know?  So many great shows are ending way to early because of the strike.

yeah the preview for next week has me wondering - I think his ex comes back and tries to turn him back human - but that would destroy the show so I doubt it if it will work.  

I agree - we know the love story is about to begin - but there will be a lot to get over, she will wonder if he wouldn't turn her fiancee just to get at her himself?

And we all know - no matter how much he hates being a vamp - he couldn't let her suffer and die, he would turn her if she asked! 

Have been holding back from checking the list because I didn't get to watch it until just now, but it was fantastic.

I'll admit it, I felt so sad when Josh died -- I didn't think I had much attachment to him one way or the other, but they played the whole thing so well it was absolutely heartwrenching.

I guess the only thing I would have changed (if I were writing it -- hey, Hollywood, call me, LOL), is that I wouldn't have had him come in at the end and talk to her. I would have ended the show with her in the room and him outside waiting, but the two of them apart for now, the wall between them. I thought his speech about why Josh was killed (his job, etc) felt "off" -- it wasn't the time for that -- and took away from the very beautiful moment of him saying "he's human, this is what happens" -- that was a fantastic line.

Also, logistically, there was no way to bring him back because the other cops arrived -- if they'd played the moment before help arrived, he could have brought him back, and no one would have known, but at the point she asked him, there was no way, because the other cops already knew he was injured/dying. How would they suddenly have been able to explain him popping back to life? Although, there could have been story fodder there, too -- two vampires in love with her...

It was an amazing epi, and I was happy to see that they got the People's Choice for new series, so maybe it will come back for a second season or more epis when the strike ends (really, Hollywood, call me). LOL

I just watched that episode today, it was sad that josh died but on the other hand, mick can go after beth :)

And that would be JUST like something Coraline would do to try to elminate her competition.  It's got to rub her the wrong way that the kid she kidnapped to play "our sweet little girl" is now the other woman.

Though again, I was watching a TiVo'd Ghost Whisperer, and they showed the previews to Moonlight, and the scene where Beth is begging him to save Josh "for her" and it just chokes me up... the actors really nailed that whole scene. It was fab!

I love Josef -- he's a hottie, but I don't know him from anywhere else... I just liked how feral he is -- the look he gave Beth, when he first met her, doing the phone call thing in his office, was awesome. Like he wanted to bite her on the spot -- I think they should have done more with her and him... He was always iffy about Mick knowing her, because she's a reporter and could expose them -- if they maintained him as more of a threat to her, with that buried attraction that he can't indulge I think that would have been more powerful...

The sunlight thing is kinda lame. I think they need to commit to you can be in the sun or not, or maybe just for brief exposures, and he would get some blistering, etc... they seem to kind of fudge that a lot...

 I always wonder how TV shows are written -- can you just write one, and send it in and see if they take it? Or do you have to be on the staff of writers? I would *looooove* to write a Moonlight epi...

I love turning people on to new shows. You'll have to let me know what you thought afterwards. Personally, I loved the show.

I'm kind of a tv addict. I'll sit down with a calender and the premiere schedules, trying to plan out my tv viewing. I try to catch each new show at least once. Then I stick with my favs.

I know what you mean about writing episodes. I'm not sure how it works but I think you have to be on staff. I've often thought I had a great idea for an ep. Who knows? Maybe with the writers strike they'll start looking for scabs...LOL.

Sad to say, but I'm kinda glad about the lull on tv right now. I haven't been able to watch too much recently as my daughter just started Algebra. She hates math so we work on it every afternoon which throws the rest of my schedule off. Thank heavens for Tivo!!

Hopefully the strike will end soon and we can look forward to new shows in the near future. I really miss some of them... 

I was worried at first that the show was going to try and be like "Forever Knight"....Nick/Mick.

I also dont know how much I buy a day walking vamp, but i am willing to go with it.

I hope that they dont get together to soon.  That is usally the kiss of death for a series.  Think "Remmington Steele" or "Moonlighting", or even "Cheers"....once the bickering couple finally gets together, the show doesnt last much longer.

Now that you mention it -- I guess I was forgetting all of these things and just focusing on the parts I like. ;)  Willing to forgive a lot in the way of hot heroes and good stories.

It is one of those things that would make the relationship weird, though, your lover sleeping in a freezer, LOL.

Well, let's just hope we get to see more and how they work it all out...

Sam: Yeah, it would totally cut down on cuddle time! Don't you think? hehehe Maybe he could get one of those cooler blankets they use for surgeries and she could get a heating blanket to sleep on... I've known people who like their temperatures almost the different. hehe

I hate that you can't see other peoples comments while you're writing yours!  If I'm responding to more than one person my mind wanders from what I wanted to say to the second. LOL

I think a lot more of Josef should be in the series, I loved the episode that he was more of a star in.

Can't wait till tomorrows show either. 

they had him as a daywalker already, lol just not enjoying it as much.  I don't think they can leave him like this for long - the fans (like me, lol) will object profusely - the best episode was still last week, him vamp powers showing in that fight were phenomenal.

and no preview....I forgot about the writers strike - that is probably the reason (meaning no episode next week!!!! NO!!!!!)  

I thought the show was great and I can't wait to see what happens between Mick and Beth now that he's human...forever how long it lasts that is.  I hope Mick is left out of Coraline's drama now but I have a funny feeling we haven't seen the last of her or her brothers.  It just hit me now as I write this that the reason why Coraline didn't die in the fire was because she can regenerate as quickly as her brother did in last night's show.   I can't believe I never thought of that when I was watching the show last night.  Boy, didn't Lance..?right name...look creepy with one black eye.

OMG it does suck to be left hanging like that.  And it better come on again, I hate it when you just get into a perfectly great show and the network cuts it.

Sarah, I did kinda chuckle when I saw all that food on the table but, I woulda done the same thing...taste every food I craved for the last ?50 years.

I think you're on to something with the whole love child thing -- yes, I can see that happening (playng off of the most recent Superman movie, where he left Lois a single mom... ;)

I enjoyed the French Revolution stuff, too, and didn't think of it with Coraline in the fire until you just said it, LOL. I guess my mind was on other things, but I thought that was a very solid rationale for what's happening. I wonder whom they were bringing her back to? When she said "you know what he'll do" -- I wonder who he is, and what he'll do? I bet we find out.

The food was the best, and yes, I would do that too. I also thought when he showed up and was all broken and bent but smiling, that probably healed a lot for Beth, to see that he prefers the pain of mortality -- but of course he won't get to keep it. I wonder how long? It seemed like Coraline was human for quite a stretch, but maybe she was using the compound all along.

They had so better get this show back on the air -- it was selected as the People's Choice winner for new show, so that has to mean something, I hope...

We could probably write letters at the website or something..

Last night's ep is the last one until the writer's strike is over. I read that unless the strike ends by Feb 1, this will probably be it for this tv season for most shows.

I loved the food scene too. But where was the chocolate? I'd need a big cake or something...LOL.

I fear we haven't seen the last of Coralene either. I don't want to like her but I felt bad for her last night. And Lance was scary. Makes you wonder what the guy (I assume the head brother) Lance is taking Coralene to is like.

Sam--Can't wait to see how you like VM. Just keep in mind, sometimes you hate Logan and other times he's not so bad.
