I read Kayla Perrin's Single

I read Kayla Perrin's Single Mama Drama on Saturday. A must read and a page turner to the end.

Thanks for the recommendation

I love Kayla and her books. She's a very engaging author.

I love Kayla's writing. I

I love Kayla's writing. I was surprised to see this book published under a Harlequin line other than Kimani. Definitely a good surprise. I think there should be more of its kind. Cool

Always Dakota

Hi

I was just wondering if and when Always Dakota by Debbie Macomber was being reissued. My stepmother is really liking that series. She has Dakota Home and Dakota Born. She got them when they were reissued

Ask and you shall receive...

How about June 2008? You'll get your Debbie fix then for that particular reissue.

Pam Jenoff's new book

Just saw the cover for Pam Jenoff's new book.  I love it!  Have been waiting for this book to come out since I read her first one.

Oh I'm so glad!

I've been dying for that one myself. She is such a fantastic writer. It seems like we've been waiting forever.

I read and loved

Gennita Low's Virtually His.  It was entirely different than what I am used to reading.  I'm looking forward to the next one.

I adore Gennita Low

Her books are so compelling, I can't put them down. Virtually His was a great book. I can't wait for Virtually Hers.

Sharon Sala

Hi everyone--

I just finished reading her new book The Healer and really liked it. Has anyone else read it? It is different but has a great h/H relationship and compelling story.

Sounds intriguing

Mary, I haven't read it. Maybe I'll have to check it out. I just finished The Devil's Footprints by Amanda Stevens. Really great book. She did the prequel as an online read, so I've been patiently waiting for it to be over to get to the book. She did not disappoint.

OMG!  I love Gennita Low

OMG!  I love Gennita Low too!!  She is the first author I've ever read with some truly great, strong women.  And lord, don't get me started on Jed!!  Yuuummmmyyyy!!  And Rick, and Alex, and... well, you get the picture.  If you don't already know, she has a Yahoo group where we hang out and chat and she is very engaged with her fans.  I can't wait to read VHers and am so disappointed that it isn't going to be out until December.

@jillyan, Oh, and have you read her earlier books... the ones before Virtually His?  All her books are connected and if you haven't read it, I highly recommend The Hunter.  But, I do have to say that the best way to read her books is in order.  :)

Welcome Kadiya!

I've read the others as well, and definitely enjoyed them all. What's your favorite Gennita Low book?

Thank you for the welcome.

Thank you for the welcome. :) Any place I can talk about my Jenn obsession is a great place. ;) Without question, my favorite book is Facing Fear. I adore Rick & Nikki. And re-read that book like mad. But, Rick and Nikki are not my favorite couple. I love Jed too much. The first book I read by Jenn was Virtually His and I loved it so much I went back and read them all. LOL

And you, do you have a favorite book or character?

I've been working

I've been working my way through two of Debbie Macomber series. I'm reading Twenty Wishes now to catch up on the Blossom Street series. I need to read the last two Cedar Cove books to catch up. I've finished Rogue by Rachel Vincent and can't wait for the next one Pride to come out. Not too long ago I read Devil's Footprints and wow what a thriller. Knew I'd like it as I loved the Dollmaker. I really enjoy the MIRA line. Oh, and I absolutely loved the Healer, by Sharon Sala.

Reading them all...

I hear you! I've been reading Jenn for a long time, actually. She's been "adopted" by my local RWA chapter, even though she's not from here, so I've been reading her books from day one. My favorite is actually Into Danger. I thought Marlena was amazing. Wouldn't you like to be her when you grow up? :)

Deb, I also really enjoyed The Devil's Footprints. I don't read too many Debbie Macomber books... Hmmm... is that sacreligious as a romance reader to say that? I just don't have time to track down all of her books, so I try not to get sucked in. :)

I just finished The Diplomat's Wife by Pam Jenoff, which is an incredible book. I've got Brenda Novak's latest sitting right here, but I'm tempted to hold off until the others are out.

I'll be reading

Michelle Gagnon's Bone Yard soon her first one Tunnels was awesome, a very gripping tale. I debated over Diplomat's Wife, guess I'll have to pick it up. Thanks for the recommendation. You just can't have enough good books ready.

Sharon, Rachel and Brenda

Hi. I'm typically an American and HR junkie, but some of the ones ya'll mention here are super. Sharon Sala- What talent. And a great lady too. Rachel, as well. Both are in my local rwa chapter and really nice people. Sharon has had a wonderful response to Healer and she responds to that well. She knew it was different when it came to her. If you read her myspace blog (you have to go back a ways) she tells how it, and her other story ideas, came to her.

I was reading Brenda Novak's online, The Last Stand. Now, I can't find it (not in the ol library) to finish it. I 'lost' one once before and someone found it and gave me a link so I thought someone here might know, since it's a MIRA OL read.

Here you go. You can find the story here. And discuss it here. But hurry... my understanding is that this is only available for a limited time only. :)

I haven't

read Brenda Novack yet but I do have a couple in the piles just don't know when I'll get to them.

Thanks

Dream. I got to it while it was still there. Hate to get to the last chapter and lose the book.

I have an up and coming reader, writer, or (more probably) a critic. My 10 mo dgd tried to eat Robyn Grady's, Presents- The Australian Millionaire's Love Child today. Lol

Lucky for the dog

I wouldn't have wanted to be him if he'd actually eaten the book. As I like to remind mine, he would fit very nicely on my BBQ grill. Wink

Deb, do let me know what you think of Brenda's book. I really love her writing.

Deanna Raybourn-Question

I love this author!  I bought her first book, which was in hard cover.  Her second book I purchased last month and was very glad it was in paperback form and less than $6.00.  But this month, I was very disappointed that her next installment, although paperback, was priced at $11.00 and change.  My circumstances have changed since purchasing her first book in hardcover as I'm sure others have too.  My question is if the next installment is also a paperback, why is it so much more expensive than last month's? Very confusing and disappointing.

Deanna Raybourn

Hi there! Thanks so much for stopping by. While I don't know the complete answer to your question, here's what I do know.  The reason the second book was less expensive last month is that it is actually a reissue of the book in the smaller paperback size. It was originally issued in the same format we're getting for the book this month, which is the trade paperback size.  So when it first came out last year, it did come in the larger format with the higher price. The difference is the size of the book.  I'll see if I can get more information for you.

Also, Deanna is going to be visiting with us the week of March 23rd, so I hope you'll stop by and say hello. I'm very much looking forward to having her because I also love her books.
