I'm and old newbie. lol Haven't been on in way too long and after reading this first chapter, I decided today was a great day to register and pop in.
I liked the chapter and had a very clear image of the hero and heroine and look forward to 'seeing' their next meet!

Wow a 5 chapter lead up to the "meeting". Way to keep us coming Megan... I'm liking this story too so far... and I'm not a "spice" person

I've bookmarked it now so I can find my way back.
Just getting back into the online reads and am enjoying this one. Brought back many memories of my youth, but thoses were more of the Malibu, 442 and Electra 225's.
The thing to remember with
The thing to remember with Online Reads is that they are kinda like Readers Digest Condensed - less detail/ give you the gist of what's going on/ moving along quickly - so accept the missing detail and just enjoy the thread... use your imagination to fill in the blanks! And another thing, why comment on the language or the explicit language - the top of the page warned you what to expect - chose not to read it, rather. Personally, I enjoy Megan's style - the heroine is sassy, and the hero is a bad boy -- purrrrfect!!! It's fiction, after all!

I've been waiting for them to REALLY meet, and now they have! Anticipating what happens on Monday.....

Glad you're here, and thank you so much for reading The Road Taken. (I wanted to call it Road Trip but the editor said it reminded her too much of that goofy movie with Tom Green...and you know what? The Road Taken is a MUCH better title!)
Yes, Molly DID have to use the restroom, but I prefer to think she went at some point even though I didn't say it. Heaven knows *I* couldn't have waited that long. LOL!
Just a note on the Impala -- I actually have one. It's purple. I wanted to make the one in the story purple, too (and mine's a convertible) but somehow I didn't see him driving a purple car.
I'll be here on and off, so please feel free to ask questions if you have 'em, or just enjoy the story (I hope you enjoy it, anyway! Life's too short to do stuff you don't like.

Megan, can't wait until Monday to see how the handsome hunk from the Impala introduces himself to Molly and if she follows up with her fantasy. I am guessing that would be a big Yes since this is a SPICE!
I just finished Tempted and I could not put it down. WOW, what an intense read. I loved the relationship between Jamie/Anne/Alex. I was really sad at the ending and wished all 3 could have gotten their happy every after.
Impatiently waiting for the rest of this story. Glad it is a daily....

OMG! The first chapter just hooked my like a bass on a worm. I may have too much Supernatural on my brain but, Impala? Complete with creaking doors? * is slain*
Was squeeing so hard as the hero walks into the scene ... battered leather jacket and boots? Check .... Faints stubble and sandy hair? Check ... Lips lush and kissable? Check ... Gorgeous crystalline green eyes?Check.
Honey, that is like the blueprint for the fine specimen of manhood called Dean Winchester. And Megan? Great imagery and am gobbling up every chapter.

Loved Molly's final line in this chapter! Will Jake just grin or will it make him swollow hard? I get the feeling we'll see a BIG OLE grin. Thank goodness this is a daily!
I do have to say, not that the car model is right (I don't think. I'm bad with some older car makes), but the classic car and interesting/attractive man make me think of the movie DEATHPROOF. Don't know why, but Kurt Russell's character image won't get out of my head for Jake. Usually I can substitute George Eads's image in ANYWHERE, but this time, it's Kurt. Doesn't help I saw DEATHPROOF twice during the past couple weeks, as I got the movie for DH for Christmas.

Kurt in movie
Kurt's character in the movie is, shall we say, a BAD bad guy, not a good bad guy. Or is that bad good guy?
As for the boys of Supernatural, I do agree Jansen's hot, but I seem to prefer Jared. Don't know why, and I don't try to figure it out. Since I'm not a 'ghost' tv genre gal, I just watch him on the Gilmore Girls reruns.
