i am completely satisfied with this book, actually could not wait for the second book so i ordered the ebook. both books were fast-paced with cohesive story-lines and sizzlin' hot romance/sexy scenes. i never was into paranormal romance but i made an exception for this. now i am chomping at the bit for the final book.

He was such a wonderful, intense character to write, and I loved bringing him together with Michaela. Hope you'll enjoy it, too!!!

Thanks so much for coming by, and it's great to hear that you enjoyed Last Wolf Standing! Glad you enjoyed that opening scene, too. I had so much fun writing that one, especially the interaction between Jeremy and Mase. :)

The way I have the series planned is for there to be three sets of three, so nine stories in all. The next set of three takes place just a few months after these first ones. I'm working on #4 right now, which is Eric's story. The fifth one will be for his sister, Elise, and I believe those will come out at the beginning of next year. The 6th will be their older brother's story. :)

And then the last set of the Bloodrunners would take place a few years down the road, so that some of the younger characters have had a chance to grow up. Hopefully I'll get the chance to write them, because I think it will be great to revisit all the couples and see what they're up to. There's also going to be a certain Irish Bloodrunner who will finally get his own story in this last set. ;)

As for more paranormals, I'm thrilled to say that I have more on the way! I start a new paranormal series for HQN next year, with the first book out in April 2009!!  They're very dark and edgy...but also really sexy. *g*

I'm still reading my copy of LAST WOLF STANDING (LOL, with a toddler in the house, my top reading time is at 3 a.m.!!!), but had to drop by the board and post a quick question:

I'm wondering how you decided on the name Torrance?  It is a unique and lovely name, and fits the character well.  It's also not a "traditional-girly" kind of name.

Some writers pick names from baby-naming books, others have a specific thought or history behind the character names -- I was just wondering what lead you to select it!

Very excited that there will be more books.

Hey Celtic Lass! What a great question. :) When I first began writing, I started collecting names that really caught my interest and now keep them in a writing journal. I added the name Torrance to my journal after a conversation with my husband about Torrance, California. LOL. He told me he thought Torrance would make a cool name for a character, and I loved it, so I added it to my list. The names in my journal come from all sorts of places--movies, locations and even people I've known--but believe it or not, I honestly get most of them from my husband. LOL. He's wonderful at finding interesting names for me to add to my list, just like he did with this one. If I don't already have a character's name in my head when I begin a new book, I'll look in my journal to see if there's anything that fits with his/her personality. Torrance just sounded like the perfect fit for the heroine in LWS, and I loved being able to use the different nicknames for her. :)

I am completely in love with the Bloodrunners. I am reading Jeremy's story, I love him he's just so yummy. I could eat him....Sorry got carried away there...LOL.

Where I am in the book Jeremy is torturing Jillian with his hotness and I can't wait to read more. Rhyannon I think you are an amazing writer and I'm looking forward to what ever you write in the future, you have become a auto buy for me.

Loved Last Wolf Standing. I loved meeting all the Runners. Yummy! I'm now reading Last Wolf Hunting. I love reunion stories and this one is really intense. Jeremy is intense. Yum.

Stargirl, relax -- Rhy said in an interview with Harlequin that she's planned for three trilogies -- that's nine in total.  I think we'll get a healthy dose of Bloodrunners coming!

.. but it won't be there for long!  Very much looking forward to reading Jeremy's story... soon!

As for Cian, I promise that the sexy Irishman will definitely have a story of his own!! I'm afraid it's going to be one of the later books in the series, but hopefully worth the wait. ;) And until then, you'll get to see a lot him in the other stories. He shows up quite a few times in Last Wolf Watching, and again in the 4th and 5th books. :)

I loved Last Wolf Hunting! I'm really curious to see who all the bad guys are. I still have to place my April order so for Last Wolf Watching. I'm glad that Michaela is getting a story. She was really interesting. And I'm glad that sexy Cian will be getting his own story too. I love this series.

I started it yesterday. I'm about halfway through. I love that their love story is so completely different from the first book. I really like Jeremy, well I like both of them - their love story is really believable.

And Cian is as yummy as ever. LOL. Ya know, Cian's charming flirtacious nature and the devilish way  he likes to get a rise out of the other Runners reminds me of Anthony Mallory from Johanna Lindsey's historicals about the Mallory family. Anthony was the untilmate rake, and he laughed and chided his brother in law and brother when they fell in love. But oh boy he was something else, I mean he fell hard when he met his own match

Not to take away from the author Nocturne authors as they all write fantastic books, but I LOVE these books. (getting them for free helps lol! ;) only joking--trust me, I would pay retail for them.)

As an Irish/Scotsman, I have to say that it will be interesting to read a Celt that isn't stereotypically drunk half the time.

It's been years since I've had my hands on one, but you've made me want to track down a copy of Tony's story. ;) He was so freaking SEXY!! Now I need to get to a bookstore! LOLOL

Rhy, Yes Tony was as sexy as hell!  I haven't read it for years but I never forgot the last line where she asks if they can "try it again" in the chair. LOL! When I first read it, I borrowed it from my aunt. I bought a more recent copy a year or so ago, (not one of the older ones that probably had Fabio on the cover) with the intention of reading it agin sometime. It's called Tender Rebel.  

Hey guys! I learned something fun while at RT about the cover model for my third Bloodrunners book, Last Wolf Watching. The model is one of the new trainers on Bravo's WORKOUT! No wonder he has such amazing abs!! ;) I've never seen the show before, but will have to check out an episode. *g*

I kind of knew before the end of Book One..(and no, i didnt cheat. lol.) I kept screaming at Mase throughout the first book about it---and getting strange looks from my family!
