Pretty and shiny, yes?
You should all have noticed by now that I've moved a few things around, archived some discussions, and I think, made this area a little cleaner to navigate. You shouldn't have to go into any of the folders to read the discussions, they should all be on the main forum page. :)
I don't know about you, but fall always makes me feel like cleaning. They say it's spring cleaning, but for me, it's all about fall cleaning. I spent the summer outside and now that I'm forced to be in, I have to make everything spic and span.
If I may make a very sad confession about myself, I spent most of yesterday afternoon cleaning the grout in my shower with a toothbrush. It was time. The sad part is, I'm so super excited about my clean grout, you'd think I'd won the clean grout lottery or something.
Anyone else a fall cleaner?

fall cleaning
I'm both! I like to clean out the closets, rotate the clothing, sort out clothes for donations. Winter clothes take up so much more room, so I just store them! Also good time for planting flowers for spring, cleaning out the garage so I can find my Christmas stuff.. LOL!

Merrillee, it's a strange sickness. Fall and procrastination make me want to clean like a mad woman.
Funny thing about my recent cleaning spree, I spent all afternoon cleaning the grout with a toothbrush, and then said to hubby, "go look at the shower." He came back. "Uh, it's a shower." "No, LOOK at it." "Honey, if you did something, I can't tell." When I finally explained about the grout, he looked, came back, and said, "oh. yeah. Nice job honey."
So all that work and he didn't even notice!! LOL!!

Okay, I'll give you the truth, the whole truth. I clean because I have to! I was never one who desired to do these things. But I REALLY love it when other people do it!

Sadly, we're all cleaned out over here. The next time you catch me cleaning, it'll be because I'm procrastinating on something else.
Yesterday, we had a raccoon move in to our fireplace chimney. I think he must've known we were getting a snowstorm. But we scared him out and today we've got all kinds of snow. It's really wet, though, so it won't be around much longer. Still, I am bundled up on the couch with the dog, and I'm thinking I don't want to go anywhere, except maybe back to bed, where it's nice and warm.
