This has to be first for me.  I feel a little nutty even blogging this, but I do like to hear everyone's suggestions and pointers.  And I take my writing very seriously, as the characters usually come from some deep place in my heart.  This is scary sometimes....

So, okay, here goes:

I'm suffering from a serious case of writer's apathy. Not block, because I have ideas. I just don't have whatever energy it takes to write them down. I've got a half written Nocturne Bite that needs to be completed. I have a Super that needs to be edited so I can FINALLY send it out the door.   I've got four other projects started, just waiting for me to come back to them. 

MENTAL STATUS: "Pleased". Getting a lot of writing done, Mother's Day is coming up, and we're going on vacation soon.

FAST DRAFT PROGRESS: 8 pages yesterday! Yeah, I know, still not goal, but don't be a Captain Bring Down on me.

Well, I've recovered from Tax Season and have started reading again. I ordered a bunch of books from e-har.  Hopefully I'll post enough to start receiving the code again!

DD's softball game was cancelled tonight which means we can catch up on laundry, etc. 

Years ago, back when I was young and naive, I used to think that doing office work would be, well, maybe not exciting, but at the very least mildly challenging.  But after several years of working temporary positions for various companies I've realized the biggest challenge of the average office worker is to NOT die of boredom. 

They believe in me!!!

I'm about to go to the commemoration ceremony so I'll raise a glass in your honour in approximately one hour's time

In a few of the Yahoo Groups that I belong to the challenge was issued this year to read at least one book by an author whose last name starts with every letter of the alphabet.  I decided to attempt this.

So....an acquaintance of mine loaned me a book.  I didn't ask for it.  It's one of those things, you start talking and they say, "Oh, let me bring in X for you!  I think you'd like it!"

I sailed through most of my life sporting rose-colored glasses. I rarely watched the news or read the newspapers. It's not that I didn't want to be aware of current events, it's that for the most part media focused on the bad stuff in life. Stuff I didn't want to know about.
