Hello, again! 

It's hard to believe that it's been a month since I last blogged, but it has, and I want to thank everybody who responded, and especially those who emailed me privately with their personal struggles and triumps with breast cancer.  And to those of you who either got your mammogram or promised to, I applaud you!

I need your help casting my next heroine.

Not surprising, I know exactly who my heroes are every book but the heroines are becoming more elusive lately...

I got a reader letter this morning, and she commented on the fact that she knew she'd love Unexpected Gifts the moment she read my "Dear Reader" letter. She also commented that I was lucky to have my husband! I'll confess, I couldn't remember exactly what I wrote, so I went and checked it out.

I write hot. Erotic. Spine-tingling fiction where the hiss of a riding crop slicing through the air signals a most unusual wedding night for the heroine in my upcoming Spice novel, The Blonde Samurai, Feb 2010. Not exactly what every blushing bride has listed on her bridal registry.

 What can I say?  I'm a girl who loooooves a bargain? 

It's so cool that I write books that I consider a huge bargain.

Silhouette Desires are cheaper than a movie ticket.  Far less expensive than a live show or a concert, and I can read them again and again and again...  I love knowing that I'm not breaking somebody's bank with my books.  Since I buy Silhouette Desires too, I appreciate the value for myself as well.

This made me start thinking about all my bargains.  I tried to explain bargain shopping to my husband.  "It's like hunting is for a man.  Bagging the deer with the huge rack with one shot."

So what are some of my best bargains? 
 

I woke up this morning to white stuff.  This is even earlier than last year!  In fact yesterday we changed our plans to go visit my mum this weekend for several reasons, but getting up and seeing the snow and the wind and what not, I was glad we weren't going.
