Romancing the Nanny by Cindy Kirk (Special Edition #1818)
I bought this book, because I enjoyed Cindy Kirk's The Tycoon's Son. And I liked the idea of a widowed father falling in love with his daughter's nanny. Sadly, I didn't like the heroine at all and the hero is not that likable either. She is too biddable for most of the book (she does stand up for herself in the end) and he is too calculating (until he realizes that he loves her).
The Daddy Dilemma by Karen Rose Smith (Special Edition #1884)
I feel so very lucky! Another new to me author, another huge backlist to glom.
The story: Sara Hobart donated her eggs to finance her mother's medical treatments. Six years later she finds out that she can't have children. Sara needs to know if she is Kyle Barclay's birth mother. Kyle's widowed father, Nathan, is none to happy even if he can't deny the attraction.
Star Quality by Lori Foster, Lucy Monroe, Dianna Castell (Brava)
This a good anthology, but had story I had problems with.
A Family for Christmas by Irene Brand, Dana Corbit (Love Inspired/ November 04)
Another anthology and new authors to try out.
The Rancher Next Door by Cathy Gillen Thacker (American Romance #1169)
When I was given the book I didn't know the author and wasn't interested much in the line. Since then I've come across some good American Romance titles so I decided to try my luck with this new to me author.
Grimspace by Ann Aguirre (Ace)
I wish there were more Sci-Fi titles with a strong romance story!
When He was Bad by Shelly Laurenston, Cynthia Eden (Brava)
Two shifter stories in one book. Two fairly new authors.
Morning Light by Catherine Anderson (Signet)
I had hoped that Sun Kissed would be followed by book that I could enjoy more, I was disappointed.
An Unlikely Mommy by Tanya Michaels (American Romance #1203)
I loved Tanya Michaels' Trouble in Tennessee, so of course I had to get my hands on the follow-up, An Unlikely Mommy.
The story: Ronnie Carter is a mechanic and doesn't see herself as mommy material, but then she falls for Jason McDeere, a father to a little girl.
Tex Appeal by Kimberly Raye, Alison Kent, Cara Summers (Blaze #375)
What a wonderful anthology!
The stories: Real Good Man by Kimberly Raye - Cheryl Anne Cash wants a more exciting life so she gets rid of her boyfriend. Dayne Branson always played it save. He didn't want to risk the relationship with the woman he loves. To win her back he shows her his wild site.
