I don't know where half of last year went. Honestly. Most amount of 'life' packed into a few short months that I have ever experienced.

Dear Diary:
I think this story is crap.

Lash says it doesn't matter if the story is crap at this stage or not.
You have crap, you can fix it. You don't have crap, there's nothing to
fix. Write the pages!

Dear Diary:
How many cans of Pepsi Max equal one novella and a set of revisions on a full novel?

Well, not really trivial pursuits, but I've just noticed a lot of my
covers are very 'nose' focused. Noses brushing as the hero and heroine
are about to kiss. I kind of like this. It lends a nice sensuality that
I think suits the stories well.

Yee haw! The draft of the current novel is written. I am so happy to be
back into my writing properly! Now I get to do the polishing, which to
be truthful, is often one of my favourite parts of the book creation
process (despite the fact I sometimes whinge about the tedious
micro-checking I do before it eventually goes in to my editor).

Six pages to go to reach today's word count. Are we there yet?
