Mixed Blessings

This was a very nice story. It had plenty of plot elements that moved it along quickly. Although the story's main premise, two boys swtiched at birth, seems a little far-fetched, it can and does occassionally happen, so that made the story exciting. Plus, the author knew her stuff on the medical side, so that helped smooth things over considerably.

Her Wish-List Bridegroom

I've always been a big fan of Liz, and this book is no exception. Everything moved along in a very compelling manner, and even though for a minute there I was afraid the subplot was going to take over, she reigned 'em in and kept everything moving along smoothly.

Marriage Lost and Found

I like Wylie's voice. It is younger and fresher than many in the Harlequin Romance line. This was also a very intruiguing premise, which was what drew me to the book.

To Win His Heart

This was book Two of hte Husband Fund books. I have to say, even though I loved book one, I enjoyed book 2 even more than I thought I would! Whereas I'd anticipated Winters rehashing some of the scenes we'd already seen, she moved forward from where we left off, which was very exciting!

Rainbow's End

This was probably the best Love Inspired book I've ever read! It was very well written, although at times I felt the author had way more plot action to convey than her word count allowed for, and things got a tad rushed here and there, although I would way rather have an author cram and rush than stretch and dribble (yack) so that was all cool with me!

The Man with the Golden Gun

Ah, good ol' James Bond. As chauvinist as they come, but ya gotta love him. I've seen several of his movies, but this was the first book I'd read. Definately worth the extra effort. Oh, boy, Ian Fleming had a vocabulary of gold, and the imagination to go with it. I'm humbled.

Untouched

This was a really great book! I can see why it would be a finalist for RITA! The premise was unique and fit very well with the storyline and execution. I also thought the language and imagery were top notch! The tension was great, and the characters managed to seem very real, even though one of them was a former superhero, LOL!

Their Christmas Wish Come True

This was a very cute little story that had several elements I really liked. The author used some fresh, vivid images and the ending had a little unexpected twist. The pacing was good, but i could have used maybe a little mroe romantic tension.
