Silent in the Sanctuary by Deanna Raybourn

Absolutely loved it!

This is the second in the Lady Julia Grey Mystery. I haven't read the first (Silent in the Grave) - but I intend to. I'm looking forward to the third too. Loved the setting and the whole cast of characters.

I don't think I've ever read a historical mystery before but I am well and truly hooked now.

No Regrets by Cindi Myers

My to-do lists were never like this!

After a near-fatal accident forces her to re-evaluate her life, Lexie Foster is finished with being 'Little Miss Conservative'. And when she lands a job with private investigator Nick Delaney, it's clear that her dead-sexy boss would be an excellent candidate for a few of the more x-rated things on her to-do list...

Sizzle, Seduce, Simmer

What a great collection of short stories! I found it hard to stop reading because I'd promise to stop at the end of one story, then I'd read the first line of the next one, and off I'd go again.

This book is a mix of short stories and recipes collected by Marion Lennox from some of Australia's romance writers. It was a good, fun read.

This was a wonderful story, and a real page-turner for me even though the main characters were separated for months on end. It was very well done.

Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert

I shouldn't have been surprised by how good this book was, after all, I read it because I'd received many recommendations. But sometimes, I find a book that is soooo popular, a bit of a letdown. Not so in this case.
