Most of us have at least a passing interest in astrology. We know our “sign” and can’t seem to pass up the chance to read our horoscope if we see one in a magazine or newspaper. But how familiar are you with numerolgy? Do you know that you have a life path number? How to calculate it? What it means?

Slaughterhouse Five
This is the latest selection for my local book club--we're getting together to talk about it tonight. The book was my suggestion--a classic that I had heard mentioned but never taken the time to read. I'm glad I did. The theme of the book couldn't be more relevant for these times--the insanity of war. And Vonnegut's humor and creative approach to storytelling are extremely entertaining.
Do You Know Your Life Path Number?
Worth Fighting For
The hero is a big-time property developer, the heroine is a small-time organic farmer. Molly O'Keefe takes a favorite premise and molds it with lots of humor and emotion into a story that will leave you with tears in your eyes and a warm feeling in your heart.
Same Time Next Summer
This story will have you longing for a cottage of your own...and for a man like Andrew to share it with!
More Than A Memory
I've always found stories about amnesia fascinating and this one by Roz Denny Fox feels really believable and touching. Such a sweet love story, too, with the sort of hero that you want to have all for yourself!
Before The Storm
This book kept me up reading at night until I finished. I find Diane Chamberlain's books always do this to me. Her characters are so realistic and she gives them such complex moral dilemmas. I'm a real fan!
The Soldier's Homecoming
I had the priviledge of hearing Donna read a scene from this book at the Central Calgary library. Not a dry eye in the house, let me tell you. What an emotional story, with characters you'll never forget.
Trust Me
Brenda Novak delivers a really creepy villan in Trust Me. I was fascinated by how she took a seemingly upstanding man -- husband, father, successful dentist--and revealed his darker layers.
The Secret Life of CeCee Wilkes
This is one of those books that grabs your interest from the beginning and doesn't let go until you've reached the end. As I'm a nervous flier, I often save Diane Chamberlain's books for when I have a long trip to make, since I know she'll keep me from obsessing about every little noise and bit of air turbulence.
