Stretched to the Breaking Point

It's not often that I feel like crying (other than when I read excellent romance), but I just came home fighting off tears and I'm not feeling too much better now.

The Soldier's Homecoming Donna Alward HR

Wow.  I am not personally involved with the armed forces.  My dh is not involved with the armed forces.  I cannot imagine how terribly moving this book would be for someone who is personally involved with a soldier.

Sex, Straight Up Kathleen O'Reilly HB

Wow.  First, let me say this book followed a string of Siloutte Desire's I was reading for "research".  It took me several chapters to adjust to the differences in the hero.

Falling for King's Fortune Maureen Child SD 1868

This book was completely believable.  I have never been against sperm banks, but after reading this book I have a LOT of questions about it!!!

Marrying for King's Millions Maureen Child SD 1862

What's the best way to get out of marrying a business associate's daughter?  Marry your down-and-out female friend, of course!  What could go wrong?  A marriage of convenience with no sex involved.  No one gets hurt!

Unless the bride's ex-husband shows up at the wedding reception claiming he's still married to the bride!

Bargaining for King's Baby Maureen Child SD 1857

This book kicks off with an unbelievable business proposal.  Or does it?  When a situation seems that it can't get any worse, well, it usually does.  A power struggle over land turns into a power struggle over a baby.

Can two families truly be bound together by a baby?  What if that baby is miscarried?

Man of the Year Lisa Ruff HAR

If this is Lisa's debut book, then I can tell she will be a favorite around HAR!!!  I loved the quick wit and humor in this book.  If I were judging this in our Challenge forum here, it wouldn't rate too high on mushiness, but this book packs a GREAT romance story!!!  What it lacks in sexual tension, it overloads in realistic situations!!!
