Ever since my pitch I've been in a writing slump. I open my wip, read where I left off and stare at the page for a while before I end up closing it and find something else to do.

Once again I am attempting to load a picture of Cherokee Rain to share with my friends around the world. She is a Boxer, born on April 4, 2008 and I hope to bring her home in about a month. I absolutely love this breed of dog. They are totally family oriented and highly loyal. Boxers are playful, energetic, and will learn almost anything quickly.

I got a letter back on the ms I'd submitted in December to SSE. It's not quite right for them, though the theme is. I was asked to send any other projects I think might work for them which I'm told is huge, though.

Happy LEAP DAY! This day confuses me. I wish they'd just do away with it. It makes no sense to me to have an extra day once every four years! And what about those unfortunates born on this day? What do they do the other three years? Unfair! I guess it also makes them special, though.

I was officially accepted as a member of my local RWA chapter today! I can't express how thrilled I am to finally feel like I belong in this wonderful world of writing talent!

I'm sure I'll have more to blog about on this subject later, but I just wanted to share my news today.

Just a note for anyone who's interested or participates in the daylight savings time changes. *Does not apply to Arizona or other states who do not change thier time forward or back each year* For those of us who do- you can go to this website for the new and altered dates of change.
