Probably my favourite Iris historical so far. The h/H have unbelievable chemistry, and I was totally intrigued by the suspense aspect of the plot.

I’m on a historical rampage. I was bored last week and picked up one of Iris Johansen’s earlier novels, which happened to be a Regency romance. I don’t usually read those, but I love Iris and figured I’d give it a chance.

I’m a huge SEP fan (thanks to Lori!) but I was putting off reading this book for a while now, mostly because I’ve heard not so great things about it. The heroine, Gracie Snow, is hired to bring the hero, former football player Bobby Tom Denton, back to his hometown so he can start shooting his first film.

This is the sixth Drake Sisters novel. Wild child Joley has always been my favourite of the Drake girls, so I was happy to finally read her story. A sexy, fun and steamy read!

For those of you who know me well, you know that I absolutely LOVE Kay Hooper. Seriously, she's my idol, and I've read all of her books several times. In fact, I re-read them all about once or twice a year. Doesn't matter that I know whodunnit---it's the characters that make me want to revisit the stories all the time.

Can you tell I'm in a Shannon McKenna phase? LOL!

This book was about Davy McCloud, another totally alpha hero, but not as mean as his brother, I find. Besides, the sassy heroine Margo makes up for Davy's grumpiness. Margo is being stalked by a seriously messed up villain and Davy has to help her figure out who before the both get killed.

Loved this story!
