MURDER BY MUSHROOM

This is a church-set potluck casserole inspirational, with poisonous mushrooms in the casserole being the culprit. I enjoy this book because of the setting and the small-town characters, and the church social feeling, so I pick it up and re-read a chapter or two when I'm in the middle of something--it's one of my "mood" books, when I'm in the mood for a book that isn't going to stress

Then I learned I'm boring

After I received the note from Jayne asking everyone to try to pitch in at least a few books to the challenge, my participatory bone was jiggled, and since I'd just finished a revision and wasn't planning to work on my new book until today, I had time to grab up my ten books.

STRANGE BEDPERSONS

When I first bought this book, it was a Harlequin Temptation, but I think it's been re-released. Anyway, whenever I want something light and yet satisfying, I generally reach for some of my fave oldies, and there are a lot of Temptation authors who qualify in that group. STRANGE BEDPERSONS is cute and funny, a story between two opposites who somehow find they have a lot in common. I really e

THE REMAINS OF THE DEAD

Fun mystery with a heroine with her own cleaning service which cleans up murders. The heroine can see and talk to the victims of the murders. I liked this angle because right away, it seemed out-of-the-box to me, and I like fresh approaches.

Oh, oh, that reminds me of another book I read this year. Gotta go do another review!

Egad, Jayne's call for participation means I must figure this out

I have no idea what I'm doing--no good at these internet things and worry about looking silly--but Jayne wants books read and so I will try to chip in to the grooving group. If I don't do this right, will someone please re-format me, or at the least, delete me??
