Pirate Sullivan Fouquet is reincarnated as a fireman to carry out a voodoo curse on his sworn enemy who happens to be the family that Elizabeth Hamilton (who bears a striking resemblance to Sully's lost love) wants to beg Fouquet to help. Funny, intriguing and a compelling read.  Silhouette Romantic Suspense, #1454, February,2008.

Old book from 2005, but the only one I could find easily after Beth Cornelison joined the chat in July.  I'm still looking for more because the story kept me reading into the night after the ex-con's proposal to the D.A. who might have influenced his jail time. Cal Walters believes a marriage to his old flame, Libby Hopkins, the D.A.

Time travel with a Regency twist, what's not to love?  It came out in the early 1990s but this is the first I've read it.  The heroine is very 1990's brash and outspoken but the hero's curiosity and high-standing help the book stay clever, credible and funny.  Great sidekick characters. AFN

I like the twist of the baby the alpha male, Massimo, didn't know about being his sister's kid.  Julie Marchant pushes her way into Massimo's high style Italian life to keep the baby protected and loved.  Cute handling of inexperienced parents with a baby.  Beautiful scenery and interesting family dynamics.
