While waiting for my Steeple Hill order, I picked up Kathy Reich's "Deja Dead."  This is the first in the series of books the TV show "Bones" is based on.

Kathy Reich's is definitely a fine writer and the book (about a serial killer in Montreal) has enough twists and turns to keep anyone holding onto their hat.

 I love Janet Tronstad's writing.  I love her characters and Dry Creek Sweethearts didn't dissapoint me.

A young black woman, a rising star in San Francisco's legal arena is found dead at midnight.  I white male junkie, brother-in-law of a newspaper writer, is found nearby with the woman's jewelry and the gun that shot her.  But two shots were fired and the woman was only shot once.
