This story was OK, but nothing to get overly excited about. No true conflict between the hero/heroine and the problem presented for them to overcome together never comes about. I had no trouble at all putting this book down.

Meet antihero Artemis Fowl and the fairys he tries to swindle out of their gold in this story. Well written and exciting, a real pleaser for kids in grades 4 - 8.

The Little Matchmaker

Eight year old Jason manipulates his mother and the town sheriff into marrying and they live happily ever after. Enjoyable

Time Cat

Children's Literature. No real plot, more a collection of short stories about a couple of characters moving through time and around the world. Read it to my class. They didn't hate it, but weren't terribly excited either.

I was very frustrated with this book. The first book in the series was very good, the second good, and this one mediocre. The first two chapters were incredibly boring and difficult to plow through. It got better, but it wasn't great by any means. And someone needs to tell the author that every other noun does not need 2-3 adjectives describing it.

Pure and total fluff. But a fun way to kill a couple hours. Typical zany antics you expect from an Evanovich title.

Welcome to the Jungle

This graphic novel is a prequel to the Dresden Files. It was a fun adventure and Harry's character shines through, but it doesn't add anything important to the series. Purely fun.

I enjoyed this story up until the end. It was just too pat and easy for all the build up. Kind of left me thinking if everything could be resolved so easily, what was the problem to start with.

Gideon was not as good as Jacob. The characters were less developed and their romance was less important than the ovarall story arc of the series. I had to plow my way through it.
