I picked this book out of our bookcase with some of the Romantic Suspense line, looking for the ones that take place in the West. The Navajo theme intrigued me.

It was 60 degrees and sunny this morning when I went to work so I left my little Bonsai juniper on the patio to get some much needed sun.. It got cloudy later and then started to snow this afternoon!

Wow, another action filled Annja Creed tale! The exotic locations make this a fun one to read. I came into this series at book #7, then read the first two, and now this one, #10.

40 Years of Ham Radio

Last week I got a real surprise in the mail. A big white envelope came from the American Radio Relay League (called the ARRL). They usually send out certificates for ham radio awards in the flat, white envelopes, and Merri and I have gotten a few over the years.

I used to read lots of Louis L'Amour books in the 70's while on various Navy ships, and recently I've discovered the Wilderness series of Mountain Man tales by David Thompson.

The second book in the Room 59 series is another fast-paced spy thriller. The story is about a medical breakthrough that might be the answer to many uncurable diseases, but it's first use will be as a terrorist weapon.

Ice Blue by Anne Stuart

This is a fast-paced thriller with the bad guys getting knocked off at every turn. Lots of danger to the main characters and the romantic element has the reader wondering if they will turn up in another story.

Wow, what a wild book! I listened to half of this story while assembling Merri's new computer desk, and the rest while commuting to work. Merri (aka Paisley) and Debiw were both reading it in print at the same time.
