His Secret Past by Ellen Hartman
I really enjoyed Ellen Hartman's His Secret Past. I actually had little flutters in my stomach every time the two main characters had one of those cute moments...you know, the slightly awkward I like you, but do you like me moments. Oh, and meeting up with the rock star you had a crush on as a teenager and having him fall in love with you? Can't get much better than that!
Silent in the Sanctuary by Deanna Raybourn
The second Lady Julia story was just as fantastic as the first. Once again I couldn't put it down, and read it way too quickly. I don't want to say anything to give it away, so I'll just leave it at that and say that you have to read these books!
I can't believe how long I have to wait to get my hands on Silent on the Moor...March 2009!!
Silent in the Grave by Deanna Raybourn
This book has been on my TBR pile for a long, long time. I'm glad I finally got around to reading it because it is FANTASTIC! It started off a bit slow for me, but I soon found myself unable to put the book down. Lady Julia is a great character, and Brisbane seems to be her perfect match.
Great debut, Deanna!
Hot Property by Carly Phillips
I've read a few of Carly's "Hot" books in the past, and I've loved every one of them. They're a crazy bunch of characters that I'd be proud to call family. This one I REALLY enjoyed though as it was all about a baseball player...mmmmm.
This was a great read. Definitely one I'd recommend, especially to fellow baseball fans!
Nightcap by Kathleen O'Reilly
This is the third in the Sexy O'Sullivans miniseries, and focuses on Sean, the last of the three brothers. Sean is a high-powered lawyer in New York who finds himself getting involved with Cleo, a deputy mayor, in order to save his brother's bar.
Sex, Straight Up by Kathleen O'Reilly
This is the second book about the O'Sullivan brothers. This story is about Daniel, the lonely brother who lost his first wife in 9/11. Catherine, who works at the local auction house, teaches him to love again.
I found this book to be very emotional and touching. Not quite as good as the first book, but definitely one that I would suggest.
Shaken and Stirred by Kathleen O'Reilly
This was the first of three by Kathleen in the Sexy O'Sullivans miniseries. Gabe (I believe) is the oldest of the three brothers, and he runs the family bar. Tessa is one of his barmaids, and one of his best friends. When she has to move in with him (or else end up on the street), let's just say they become more than friends pretty quickly!
The Angel of Bastogne
I was pleasantly surprised by this book. Definitely not something I'd normally pick up, but it was pretty good. It's about a man who doesn't believe in Christmas/miracles/God, who comes to discover that sometimes all you need is a little faith. Very cute and sweet.
The Stolen by Jason Pinter
This is the third Henry Parker novel by Jason Pinter (it's on sale August 08 for any of you who are waiting). Once again I really enjoyed being swept into Henry's world of suspense and intrigue. Once again Henry puts his life on the line to get the story...and what a story it is! Definitely a must-read for anyone who has enjoyed The Mark and The Guilty.
The Christmas Quilt
Cute story, very "feel good" novel.
