At first I was a little hesitant because I had read a book by Bronwyn Jameson once before but I did not enjoy it very much. I was glad to say that this was not the case because this book was wonderful start to the miniseries.

I just loved this book and how Christos realizes that his love for Ava is more important than the past. He shows to her that he loves her and it doesn't matter to him who is the father of her son for he will love him regardless because he is a part of Ava. I like how he comes to realize that she means the world to him and the past should always stay in the past.

I just love the whole tortured hero thing. For Ryan was tortured because he wanted Jessica with him but was afraid that he would be looked at like his father so he pushed her away or did his best to try and push her away. The same thing for Jessica whose mother had a startling secret one that could have potentially driven Ryan away.

This was a very good addition to the miniseries that it is a part of because you get to find just a little bit more about the Blackstone and how he truly didn't care about women that he used him just for his own convience.

I really liked this book. I liked how Gui accepted Kara even though she didn't accept herself. I just don't see how she saw herself as overweight when she wore a size 12. I wear the same size and I know that I'm not overweight but maybe that's because I used to be bigger. Anyways that was the only thing I didn't like about the book.

It was good but kind of predictable. An older man with a jaded past and secrets that can kill those close to him falls for an innocent woman. Even if it was predictable I found it an enjoyable read simply because of the way that Diana writes. She makes it seem as if it is all new even if it has been done before.

I just read this book and have to say that I enjoyed a lot of it but there were parts that I didn't like even though I know that they were meant to be part of the story line. I didn't like how Katy's mother in law acted as if she were the bad one and her son was the good one in the relationship. Other than that I really enjoyed reading this book.
