Yup. It looks like exactly what you think it looks like.

Who knew they put anatomically correct hippos (rhinos?) in our kids' animal crackers!!!

I've decided that there are several things about respect and being a friend I want to make sure my kiddo knows, and I'm going to do my darndest to make sure she learns these lessons.

Are you a member of the 1965 club?

During the September blog bash, on the Tori Carrington post, I found out there are a lot of folks around here who were born the same year I was. Are you 43 already, or will you be 43 by December 31st?

Who's with me?

To Pseudonym, or Not to Pseudonym?

If you write and use a pseudonym, why did you decide to use one? And how did you pick your writing name? If you write and use your own name, why did you decide not to use a pseudonym? Just curious! Thanks!

OMG, I'm going to cry....

I think I'm going to be sick. I just went to back up my writing files to my thumb drive, which lives on my keychain....and it's GONE. G-O-N-E. I'm not so upset about losing the drive itself -- you can get 2GB ones for pretty cheap -- but it's got copies of all my writing files on it!

Finding Your Line

As a prepublished author and one who's enjoyed participating in all the different contests offered by eHQN (both official contests and the ones on the writing challenges board), I've discovered something very important about my writing.

I don't know who I want to be when I grow up.

Haircut from Hell

So, tonight I went to the mall and, spur of the moment, decided to get my hair cut. It was too long, and I'd been fighting it daily, so I knew it was time. I went in at 8:30pm, and was the only customer there. I got my shampoo (you've GOT to have that done -- it's the best part of the deal, in my opinion!) and then the girl asked me how I wanted my hair cut.

What do you do when your muse refuses to come out and play?

I'm suffering from a serious case of writer's apathy. Not block, because I have ideas. I just don't have whatever energy it takes to write them down. I've got a half written Nocturne Bite that needs to be completed. I have a Super that needs to be edited so I can FINALLY send it out the door. I've got four other projects started, just waiting for me to come back to them.

Time Wasters

Okay, 'fess up. What are some of your biggest time wasters? Sure, we've all got time that's solidly booked, but I'm talking about free time, small as it may be.
