When will the hurting stop?

On Friday, hubby got word he's about to be sent to a new project - this one in Houston. That's quite a distance from home, and he'll be working 7 days a week, so I've been in a mad rush to tie up loose ends and finish as many projects as possible. The Bites story is one such project.

One Step Closer

I'm one step closer to having my story ready to shove out the door. I just got chapter 4 back from my crit partner, and it's all clean now. Woot! Only 3 more chapters to clean and my Bite will be ready.

After Midnight

I've been cleaning up chapter 3 of my Bites story on and off all day Sunday, and just a few minutes short of midnight I sent it off to my crit partner for a looksee. Whew! I am now officially half way through the cleanup of my book. Woot!

Cue the Chariots of Fire Theme...

Cue the Chariots of Fire theme, ya'll, because I did it. I finished my Nocturne Bites story, tonight/this morning (it's around midnight here at the moment). All the necessary elements are in place, the characters are consistent, the love scenes are written, the plot runs through start to finish, all the loose ends are tied. In a nutshell, stick a fork in it - it's done!

Breaking out the cat o' nine tails

I haven't posted much since coming back from vacation. I'd intended to write while spending a week journeying out to Florida and back, but I got to the hotel in Georgia (we stayed in Buford so I could go to Babyland General - home of the Cabbage Patch Kids) and discovered I'd forgotten one vital piece of equipment necessary to ensure I'd write during the trip - my laptop power cord. :P

Once In Paris

Okay, so I've done it. I've lost my Diana Palmer virginity. I thought for sure I'd read her at some point, but I would remembered a writing voice like that! I just borrowed and read Once In Paris, and if you like the jet setting, learning about love, evil step father contemporary romances you are in for a treat.

From the Dark

First things first, there is a lot going on in this book. I don't want to give away too much just in case someone who hasn't read the book stumbles across this review - so no spoilers here.
