Janet Evanovich must be great fun to have at a party.  In 230 pages she packs in a plot, a love story and a lot of witty dialogue.  I do not believe that I have ever not laughed out loud reading one of her books.  Yes, I am a die hard Plum fan.

I read a review of this book on another site and because I needed a HQ book for the challenge I went to buy it.  However I was not as impressed as the reviewer who inspired me was.

Let me start by saying that overall I enjoyed reading this book.  However it lacked some essentials and that surprised me from a writer of Linda Howards talents.

I have been a huge fan of the Dark Hunter Series since the first book and love the paranormal genre in general.  This story, while a flawless continuation of that series, could stand on its own for new readers to Sherrilyn Kenyon.
