Trudy's Promise
This book is a moving story that brings the broader political events of the Cold War to a human, emotional level. I was only a teenager when the Berlin Wall came down, so I while I knew the facts about it, I was somewhat removed from the emotional impact of the event. This engaging tale weaves emotion into a political backdrop in a very readable fashion.

Catch a Mate
Fun, super-sexy and a hero with a British accent. This book was the perfect way to spend an afternoon. As Jillian and Marcus (did I mention he was British) fought their seriously intense attraction and struggled to overcome their trust issues, I found the reasons for their reluctance to get involved plausible.
