Running Scared

challenge_name:

I use to read Ms Lowell's books all the time and not sure why I stopped reading them several years ago.  Running Scared was a great read with flawed, believable characters and a compelling storyline.  I liked the pacing of the story and how the romance between Risa and Shane evolves in the story.

Lazlo's Last Stand

A good, enjoyable read by an author I've read over the years.  I liked the romance and the underlying story line of the mole within the Lazlo Group.  The romace got a bit to sappy for my tastes in the last half of the book but overall I enjoyed it and will try to pick up the other books dealing with the Lazlo Group

The Moneypenny Diaries: Guardian Angel

challenge_name:

A look into the world of MI6 and James Bond from the diaries of Miss Moneypenny.  I really loved this book and the format of being told from the diaries of Miss Moneypenny.  The story deals with the events leading up to the Cuban Missle crises and focuses not just on those events but the personal lives of Moneypenny and the people around her including her own affairs and James Bond.

Beyond His Control

I tried to read one of Ms Tyler's previous SEAL books with Hunt as the hero but couldn't get into it.  Not with this book.  I enjoyed the book and Justin and Ava's relationship and how it grew over the book.  I love the sense of history between them.

A Sultan's Ransom

Somedays I pick up a book purely based on the the cover such as I did with this one.  I ended up really enjoying the story and the characters.  The writing was good and I liked how the romance between Rafiq and Paige developed.  I'm certainly will keep an eye out for future releases by this author.

Accidental Goddess

challenge_name:

I first came across Ms Sinclair's books when I was browsing the sci fi section of the bookstore and picked up Finders Keepers because it looked interested.  The book didn't disapoint just as Accidental Goddess didn't disapoint.  I love the mixture of sci fi and romance that is in the books.  I like the world building and story line of the book and throughly enjoyed the story.

Dream Chaser

Another good book in the Dark-Hunter universe.  Except for one book I've always enjoyed this universie and tend to devour any books in it.  Sometimes the heros and/or heroine/s tortured past gets repetivive but I still enjoy the books.

Jade Tiger

challenge_name:

This was an enjoyable read that jumped quickly into action and kept moving, taking me along.  The action scenes were well done and I liked Shan and Ian's romance.  The only thing I would have liked more is a more in depth look into the Jade Circle

Hidden Sanctuary

challenge_name:

Fifth book in the Madonna Key series from Bombshell following the adventures of Tru Palmer, a dowser.

I've really been enjoying the series and how it mixes adventure, romance and mysticism together.  I like Tru's book a lot and her journey towards more fully accepting her gift and opening up to others about it along the deepening story of the Marians.

One Wild Wedding Night

I pick up this book after a review on DearAuthor.com mainly because it mentioned there was a threeway in it and I wanted to see how it played out in a category romance.
