The Greek Tycoon's Defiant Bride

Lynne Graham tells a lovely story. Her style is easily readable and her delivery keeps the pages turning at a quick pace. This is the story of lovers seperated for years because of their inability to trust, take risks, and believe in the value of themselves.

Bought: One Island, One Bride

Susan Stephens tells a compelling story, one that had me fanning myself one minute and reaching for the Klenex the next. The sexual tension between Ellie (a poor, conservationist, tour guide with a traumatic past) and Alexander (a zillionaire who just purchased her island and has trust issues) is intense and their conflict is well built. This was an enjoyable read.

Talk Nerdy To Me

Okay, I have to say that I LOVED the other Nerd books I've read by Ms. Thompson, but this one didn't start my engine quite as quickly. Talk Nerdy To Me is a cute story, that was enjoyable and easily readable, but didn't captivate me quite as thoroughly as Nerd Gone Wild or, my favorite, The Nerd Who Loved Me.

The guardian's forbidden mistress

what a satisfying read!

Agnes and the hitman

Jennifer Crusie and Bob Mayer deliver another awesome hit with Agnes and the Hitman. As usual this book is packed with quirky characters, off the wall antics, tons of laughs, suspense and sizzling sex.

the Padova Pearls

Lee Wilkinson did a fantastic job of putting me in the setting of beautiful Venice, Italy. I felt as though I were coasting along the canals and walking the alleyways with the characters. It was lovely.

This story involved a bit of intrigue and I was pleased in the end to discover how all the loose ends tied up.

Shiver

Lisa Jackson delivered her usual dose of intense suspense and romantic thrills with SHIVER. Its about 500 pages, but kept my attention through every one. Abby has inherited her deceased mother's good looks and stalker. She doesn't believe it at first, but as the bodies pile up-each somehow connected to her and the assylum where her mother died-she's forced to face the facts.

Holly

Jude Deveraux's HOLLY was wonderful. It's one of her
contemporaries featuring the Taggert family. Definitely a page turner
and as always Jude delivers plenty of romance and fun. Loved this read and would definitely recommend it for some light sizzle.
