I just loved this book. Maggie Bryce is a fabulous heroine, Tom is so hot that he sizzles and the settings and descriptions of Sorrento are fabulous.

I just loved this sheikh book. I don't like "cruel" sheikhs, but Rafiq is the epitome of honour. And he loves for keeps. Annie West is a great new discovery for me.

Terrific literary historical crime novel set in 19th Century Istanbul. The hero is a sex god eunuch. Different, but rivetting.

Aint's She Sweet

I'm a huge fan of Susan Elizabeth Phillips but it took me three attempts to get past the first chapter of Ain't She Sweet. The heroine is not instantly likeable although it was obvious she was going to make an impact. I think perhaps it was the realisation of just how much she was going to have to go through to make it to her hea that held me back.

The pineapple/porcupine has official morphed into a fluffy kitten and Book # 53 -- officially now known as Secret Baby, Surprise Parents -- will be published next spring. It will be a long time before I forget the pain, but it's definitely time to break out the strawberries and cream, champagne and chocolate and sing...

Something wonderful happened this weekend. Romantic Times awarded me a Career Achievement Award for Love and Laughter... I'm so thrilled I'm dancing a jig. I just wish I could have made it to Pittsburgh to the Convention.
