Odd Hours

Despite my love for the quirky Odd Thomas who is the star of these books, I found this book lacking for Dean Koontz. It did display Mr. Koontz wonderful portrayal of the written word and his verbal bantering between the characters is endearing, but I got the impression that this book was merely a set up for another story for Odd.

Eclipse

After completing the three books in this series, I am still hooked, but found the first book (twilight) to be my favorite.

Eclipse examines the love triangle that developed in the second book much more closely and unlikely allies are formed.

New Moon

Book 2 of the Twilight series enters a new world of paranormal, that of the werewolf. The story is intense, but in my opinion, I enjoyed the 1st book more, just because I want to see more of the hero, Edward. A love triangle starts to be interwined.

I still highly recommend it and must continue with the series because the story is well written, intense and compelling.

Twilight

Wow. The only YA books I think I've read before have been the Harry Potter series. A friend of mine introduced me to this new author series and I am certainly impressed. If you desire to be swept off your feet by an invinvible, immortal, apha male come on in and meet Edward. He sure is irresistable to me. It certainly leaves you hungry for more.

Danger At Her Door

Hook after hook keeps you turning page after page to find out how this heroine can overcome her past and make the future that she desires. Strong, believable characters dealing with the hurts of life and the evil in the world to develop their relationship.

A wonderful, quick read with a satisfying ending. HIghly recommended.

Lady Killer

We're back in the world of Rosato and Associates..the female lawyers who emphasize the importance of having BFF's while solving crimes and looking for love. This book focuses on Mary, the shy one. She is coming out of her shell some and finding love by recruting 'from the other team' in the midst of pacifying family and friends.

Another great read from Lisa Scottoline.

Kiss Me While I Sleep

Wow, sums it up. I think this is the best Linda Howard book I have read so far. Suspenseful, unusual story line. (The heroine is an assassin). A real page turner until the end, I don't want to share too much to give it away. I highly reccomend if you like some thrills in your romance.
