In my earlier blogs about crabbing on the Oregon coast I mentioned that I’m finding myself in a more adventurist time of life. So, when some of my coworkers invited me to a show at one of the casinos at Lake Tahoe, I said, Yeah, I’ll go. It’s female impersonators, they said. Sounds adventuresome, I thought.

This is a male crab large enough to keep. Our guide showed us how to grab and hold on in a way that the crab can't reach with his claws.

My Vintage Trailer on the Oregon coast

Here's a picture of my vintage 1955 restored travel trailer. It took me four years to restore it (and there's still stuff to do) and this is the first year I've been able to take it out on trips.

If you've read the series The Women of Brambleberry House, by RaeAnne Thayne, Lincoln City is south of Cannon Beach.

Trip to the Oregon coast

My trip to the Oregon coast was wonderful, and too short. I didn't have WiFi at the campground in Lincoln City, and didn't really have time to post anything. Then when I reached Medford, on the way home, my lap top quit. It wasn't until I got home and had time to look at it that I found out it's ok. Phew!

Road Trip day 1

I dawdled this morning as I left town by stopping by my former office and my 'new' office to show my co-workers my vintage trailer. Beautiful scenery driving through the Lassen National Forest with Mt. Shasta poking up above everything. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to stop and look around.
