This is a March 2003 Harlequin Romance and I guess I would categorize it as a marriage-in-jeopardy story. It's sooo good. I love Susan Fox's heroes. In this book Gabe is the kind of man who makes a vow and keeps it no matter what. (I love him already!) He's earthy, sexy and alpha, but he's gentle and tender with the woman he loves.

I picked up this book because of the premise. Xandros and Rebecca have a red-hot affair, break up and then she finds out she's pregnant. Kendrick writes very ruthless men and I loved watching how the always-in-control Xandro's life goes into a tailspin.
