Love to read Jo Leigh's books! I liked that Paul could look past the plain outside of Gwen to the beautiful woman she was inside. How about her family? Yikes! I also liked that Paul wanted to change his views for Gwen. In some respects, he was more amendable than Gwen. She was stubborn with her views on the beautiful people!

I enjoy reading books by Debra Webb. I enjoy the Intrigue line. I've enjoyed The Curse of Raven's Cliff mini-series even though at times I was puzzled by how all the stories inter-locked. I thought there would be more of a paranormal tilt to the story. I was totally surprised by who kidnapped the baby and why.

They just keep getting better and better! I'm looking forward to reading Edward's story next, and then hope that Julie has some more KCPD stories in that great mind of hers! Liza Parrish was the perfect h to pair Holden up with. I loved the dogs!

I'm slowly making my way to the end of this series! This was a thriller, and I had absolutely no clue as to who the murderer could have been! A plus was the secondary romance between Samuel and Joan's sister, Heather. Love stories set in the New Orleans area, the bayou, so this was a treat.

I wasn't sure I would like Kylie Thomas, she seemed to live for her parents and superiors approval, not my thing, but happily, she broke that mind thought and grabbed her pleasure in the end. Nice story of older woman-younger man relationship. Drew - yum!

The Mercenary by Cherry Adair

I got this book because I had read Rescue Me, which was 3 books by 3 authors, including Cherry Adair. I really enjoyed it and so got this when I saw it during the BOGO sale. Very good and interesting. The heroine surprised me with her courage and bravery. I would definitely read more by this author.
