In this book Mel, the daughter of Chime and Muller, is grown up. The family had been running Harsdown after Aronsdale defeated the warmonger Varquelle. The Dawnfields changed life in Harsdown for the better. However, not everyone was happy about Harsdown's new found prosperiety.

This was a great read. It pulls you in from the first paragraph and keeps you enthralled until the last. Brooke Tyler is the entire police department in her small town. Brooke earned her position after showing an amazing aptitude for finding lost people. However, most citizens didn't know that Brooke was even better at helping people get lost.

Stephanie Plum is assigned to track down Uncle Moe, Trenton's favorite candy seller, but Trenton's residents are uncooperative. In fact they are down right rude. To top it off men with guns are telling Stephanie to stop looking for Uncle Moe or else. 

This was a very quick read.  I liked the question answer format.  It has alot of the same information that you get in other "how to write" books, written in a frank manner.  The reader also gleans information on the process Janet uses to write the Plum ser

I highly recommend the Stephanie Plum novels.  I don't know how many times I have said, "Oh what is this crazy girl getting herself into."  but it is great fun.  I listen to the audio cassetts read by C.J.

Sophia is a young girl who is made fun of by classmates for her different culture.  She decides to get even by being the best that she can be.  Then Sophia gets a scholarship to attend a private school.  Her family has misgivings but Sophia wants to go.
