Body Movers: 3 Men and a Body by Stephanie Bond (MIRA)

As with all of the Body Movers books, I adored this one. But be warned: This is NOT a trilogy. For some reason I had it in my head it was 3 books. Thank goodness I read the note from Stephanie Bond at the beginning that announced it was 6 books! More Wren family antics to come.

Nobody Does It Better by Jennifer LaBrecque (Blaze, Jun 08)

I'm a huge James Bond fan. So naturally when I saw the title of this book I thought of the Spy Who Loved Me theme song and I *had* to pick up this read. When I saw that the hero was actually a British spy....well, all I could do was swoon.

Body Movers: 2 Bodies for the Price of 1 by Stephanie Bond

I read the first book in the Body Movers trilogy (it is a trilogy, isn't it?) before it was first released, and I've been watiting a long time for this one. I wanted to wait to read book 2 until I could also read book 3 soon afterwards. I'm so glad I waited because I adored book 2 and I can't wait for book 3!

Fast Women by Jennifer Crusie

I found another Jennifer Crusie book that I hadn't read. Yay! I saved it for over a month (so hard for me) till I had a return flight from Europe. I'm soooo glad I saved it for such a monstrous day, because I really needed a good book that day! And this one did the trick!

In the Skin of a Lion by Michael Ondaatje

I'm glad I waited to read this book until I'd been living in Toronto for years. This story is set during the time of the construction of some of the city's great landmarks (Bloor viaduct over the Don valley, for example). I think the story came alive for me because I now know the city so well. I recommend this to anyone who has spent a decent amount of time living in the T-dot.

The Loner by Rhonda Nelson (Blaze Jun 08)

The hero of this story is a Ranger who has a career-ruining training accident in chapter 1 and joins a security force populated by former Rangers. Hmm...what a surprise. I'm reading a story with a special forces hero. That's so unlike me. Oh, no, wait...that's exactly like me! My mistake.

Wild Hunt by Lori Devoti (Nocturne, Jun 08)

I've already raved over and over about Lori's first two books in this miniseries, Unbound and Guardian's Keep. This third installment is just as spectacular. I never thought I'd be interested in a love story between a hellhound and a Valkyrie, but Lori just makes the world so believable that you can't help but be swept up in the emotions, the drama, the love story.

Safe with a Stranger by Linda Conrad (SRS Jun 08)

The hero of this story is a Ranger. He's delicious. Wounded, damaged, but still strong. And yummy! This was an exciting story and I was quite curious about how it was going to end. The Mexican mysticism (for lack of a better word) was an interesting twist in the plot, too. Overall a good one. - Angela

Guardian's Keep by Lori Devoti (Nocturne)

Last year someone who works at Harlequin (I'm not going to mention names) told me that Unbound was one of the best Nocturne's she'd read. With a glowing review like that, I had to read it. I'm so glad I did! And now Lori Devoti decided to make the book into a miniseries, and I couldn't be happier. Guardian's Keep is book 2 in this series and just as amazing!

Last Wolf Watching by Rhyannon Byrd (Nocturne)

I demolished the last of the Bloodrunners trilogy over the May 2-4 long weekend and LOVED it. I admit I was a little hesitant to read it at first because it was Brody's story instead of Cian's (Note to Rhyannon if you're reading this: I REALLY want to read Cian's story!!!!), but that all worked itself out after just a few pages. I now consider it a must-read.
