Hey, what happened to the "author" box? I thought there was a separate place to enter the author name...maybe I'm hallucinating again. That seems to be happening these days! Just ask my colleagues, I've got a hole in my memories lately...

This is the sequel to a book I read last year, The Horseman's Secret. It features that heroine's sister and that hero's brother. I liked the first book, and I liked this one even more. There was more focus on the romance, and it felt even more natural when they finally came together at the end (and I mean that in the most innocuous of ways, those of you with dirty minds!).

Yeah, and here's another review that I accidentally put in my personal blog (like I'd ever keep up w/ that, sheesh! I don't kid myself...)

Melanie's been heating up the Presents world with her particularly fiery external conflicts and passionate heroes and heroines. INNOCENT WIFE, BABY OF SHAME is one of those delicious stories in which the heroine truly looks in the wrong--even she thinks she's in the wrong--and you can't quite see how it's all going to work out. The hero is QUITE strong and a bit cruel...but I love it!
