MORE Contests!

Hi everyone-

In honor of the release of BONEYARD, I'm holding two additional contests!

Here are the details:

Sandstorm

challenge_name:

The first in the Sigma Force series, I really enjoyed it.

Subterranean

challenge_name:

I always love James Rollins's work. IMHO the early books are good, but not as impressive as his Sigma Force series. But it's interesting to go back and see how much he's developed as a writer.

Deep Fathom

challenge_name:

One of Rollins's early works. It started a bit slowly for my taste, but all in all a fun read.

Phantom Prey

challenge_name:

I thought this was an interesting departure for Sandford. Some of the storyline flirts with the paranormal, which is unusual for him. I just love that Lucas Davenport...

Invisible Prey

challenge_name:

Another solid entry in the Prey series.

Triptych

challenge_name:

Enjoyed this, but not as much as her Grant County series.

Animal Vegetable Miracle

challenge_name:

This book was fascinating, it completely changed the way I think about food and I plan on modifying my shopping habits accordingly. Be forewarned, at times it does get a bit redundant and preachy, but all in all it was very informative and inspirational.

Thunderstruck

challenge_name:

I was really looking forward to this after reading Devil in the White City, and I have to say it let me down. While there was some interesting history in here, I find the leaps between different stories jarring this time, especially since it wasn't chronological. And the stories were too disconnected for me to believe the link Larsen was trying to create.
