Hungry For More

If you love Susan Elizabeth Phillips, then Diana Holquist is an author you need to check out. This book was an absolute delight. It features a sexy chef and a delightfully sinister gypsy looking for a spirit voice that left her high and dry. It's witty, funny and sexy, and this book put Diana on my auto buy list.

False Memory

I thought this was a very good book, though a bit disturbing at times. Despite that, there's a nice HEA, and an extremely interesting and creative plot.

Problem: The book is 750 pages, something I somehow overlooked when I threw it in my cart at the grocery store.

New Rules

If you're liberal, this is hysterically funny. It's a collection of "New Rules" from Bill's HBO series, "Real Time". His show is one we never miss, and is basically the way we get our news. He, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are my family's news team, unless something important is going on in the world, then we relent and flip on CNN.

Body Language

I've heard a number of great things about this author, so the moment I saw the book on the shelf at my grocery store, I picked it up and threw it in the cart next to the Fruit Loops.

Unfortunately, I should have read the blurb first, because if I had, I would have known that the plot was basically an infuriating one and not the best choice for an introductory read.

Happy Birthday DonnaM!!!

A little bird (okay, monkey) told me that today is DonnaM's birthday. Can't let that go by without an eHarlequin celebration.

Happy Birthday Donna!

Hope you take some time out to celebrate!

November Blaze

I got the cover for my November Blaze, "Unleashed". It's about a San Francisco Homicide Inspector who has a one-night-stand then wakes up the next morning to find his lover--and his car--gone.

It's a fun story that includes a villain, a road trip, and a detour through Reno's infamous Hot August Nights (think fuzzy dice, poodle skirts and 50's hot rods).
