This book was not as good as the previous in the series, Stolen Magic, but it had a lot of interesting facts about the abolition movement.
A couple with magical powers are sent through time to stop slavery. On their journey they fall in love.

Another great story by Diane Gaston. This story is about a Marquess helping a woman run away from the law. A hangman's noose awaits them both if they are caught.
Great page turner.
