This is a great book--definitely my favourite of the NASCAR books I've read this year.

Kim Murphy comes from a NASCAR family and loves racing, though her career is as a scientist. Her health is failing, and she comes across a list she made as a teenager: "Things to do before I die". One on the list is "date a jock", so she impulsively asks out NASCAR car chief Wade Abrahams...and he accepts!

Allegra (not Allegro as the back of the book calls her...) is a young mage woman in Aronsdale. She's captured by nomads from the neighbouring country of Jazid, and sold to be a pleasure slave to the exiled prince, Markus.

Allegra must escape to warn her homeland about plans for war, but she also finds herself falling for Markus.

"What are your favorite settings/themes and which Harlequin stories best capture these for you?"

Thanks to Lynn's mini-challenge entry for reminding me to do this!

This is such a hard one to answer, because my favourite themes change depending on my mood.

(Information Today, Inc. - 2006)

This was another book for class. It looks at various theories presented in the library & information science field about how people look for information--for example, it looked at library anxiety, the principle of least effort, and willingness to return.
