30 books per order now

Wow all. I just went to eharlequin to check on the rest of the Thoroughbred Lagacy series (felt like it ended with #8, but there are 4 more) and the first thing I noticed is we can now order 30 books at a time. My rural postal person will be so happy that I can cut the number of boxes coming into the house each month. I won't have to try to decide which ones to order first second, third etc, but can just grab 30 and go. Whooopee!!!! Happy reading and ordering allKiss

Something to Talk About - Joanne Rock

My last book for August and the 4th of the Thoroughbred Legacy books. I wanted to finish all 8 from my to be read box, but will not make it since it is already Monday and I must finish Friday's work before the end of the holiday....so of course I am blogging and not working, BUT I am at my desk. This was another that had a bit of lots of things going on. Good guys, bad guys, matchmakers, suspense, mystery. I am finding one them through this series that bothers me a bit though....all the age differences between heros and heroines. The difference between the widow Amanda and Robbie, the trainer is 12 years. It has been about 10 years so far throughout the series. Oh wellUndecided. I am starting to get frustrated about Leopold's Legacy and Apollo Ice.

Picture of Perfection - Kristin Gabriel

# 3 of the Thoroughbred Legacy books and a really interesting and twisted story. This was my first by this author and I really enjoyed Kristin Gabriel's writing. She really put me into the story and all the side stories too. Carter, I liked even from earlier stories and Gillian was well developed. Loved the ending with Herman and Shirley!

Biding Her Time - Wendy Warren

Number 2 of the Thoroghbred Legacy series. I liked Shane and Audrey and Hillary lots. All of them were interesting and very well developed characters. The wines (expecially the Shiraz) sound good. I really liked how the three of them were able to make the wine shows work without "booth bunnies".

His For The Taking - Julie Cohen

A Nights of Passion book. I started this one awhile ago, then put it aside. Made myself get through it this weekend though. It was actually a better book than I originally thought, so am glad I did get through ti. Zoe was an interesting character and more like her aunt than she thought. Nick was really something....adopting and rehabbing a New York City pigeon wow! Cute ending.

Caretti's Forced Bride - Jennie Lucas

Another of the Wedlocked books. Alright, I thought this one a bit stupid, but a light read. Romance, intrigue, good guys, bad guys, secrets that are and aren't. Paolo of course would not be what he is if not for his past and Isabelle is kind of a lightweight. I liked Alexander, though he sure didn't act his age.

I hit 300!

I got to 300 today and beat my goal of 1 September for my 300th. Enjoyed this book on audio with my husband. We both enjoyed it and I write this while listening to another JD Robb with Geoff. Love the multi-tasking capability of audiobooks! Keep reading everyone!

Judgement in Death - JD Robb

This is my number 300!!!!Laughing I was glad to spend time with Eve Dallas and Roarke again. And this was a really good one with cop killers, Roarke past and Eve's past and both their presents intersecting some.

Prince of Midtown - Jennifer Lewis

A Park Avenue Scandals book. Loved it! Such fun. Poor Tessa lusting ofter the boss who likes everyone, but hasn't noticed her before. Sebastian is a bit of a playboy, but he really does seem to take his princely job seriously. Faris was horrible and I didn't like his mom either, but I liked his daddy, the king.

Wed By Deception - Emilie Rose

The Payback Affairs. As soon as this one arrived I jumped on it. I have enjoyed this trilogy. Nadia is impressive in her dedication to her 12 month challenge from her deceased dad. He did a real number on Nadia and Lucas (her deceased husband). Nice to see everything ending happily ever after in this trilogy.
